Returns & Exchanges
Every piece in the Collection is chosen with intention — sourced from makers we have trusted for decades. When something is not right, we want to make it right. The guidelines below explain how returns and exchanges work
across the Collection.
Stocked Items
Accessories, tabletop, lighting, and other stocked pieces may be returned within 14 days of delivery. Items must be unused and in their original packaging. Write to hello@karachildress.com with your order number and we will arrange the return. Refunds are issued to the original payment method within seven to ten business days of our receiving the item.
Furniture Returns
Furniture that ships by White Glove Delivery may be returned within 14 days of delivery, subject to a 20% restocking fee. The piece must be in its original condition — no alterations, no damage beyond original transit. We will coordinate retrieval; please do not attempt to ship furniture independently. Original White Glove delivery charges are non-refundable.
Made to Order
Made-to-order pieces are final sale. When you commission a piece built to your specifications — custom upholstery, a chosen finish, a particular dimension — that piece is created for you alone. We cannot accept returns on made-to-order items under any circumstances. If you have questions about a specification before you place your order, we are glad to help; please write to us before you commit.
Final Sale Items
The following are final sale and may not be returned or exchanged: made-to-order pieces, vintage and one-of-a-kind finds, sale items, and any item marked as final sale on its product page. We are transparent about these designations before you purchase. When in doubt, ask — we would rather help you choose confidently than process a return.
Brand-Specific Policies
The Collection is drawn from independent makers and brands, each with their own production and return protocols. Some products carry maker-specific return windows, restocking requirements, or non-return designations that supersede our general policy. Where a brand’s terms differ, those terms govern. We will always communicate any brand-specific conditions clearly on the product page and in your order confirmation. If you have a question before purchasing, we are here to walk you through it.
Exchanges
We do not offer direct exchanges. To exchange a piece, please initiate a return for the item you wish to send back and place a new order for the replacement. This allows us to hold the piece you want while your return is in transit. Standard return conditions and timelines apply.
Please inspect your order while the delivery team is with you, or within 48 hours of receipt for parcel deliveries. If your piece arrives damaged or is not what you ordered, send photographs of the item and its packaging to hello@karachildress.com with your order number. We will arrange repair, replacement, or a full refund at no cost to you. Claims submitted after 48 hours cannot be honored — damage is easiest to put right when we hear about it promptly.
Write to hello@karachildress.com or use the Order Support form on our Contact page. Include your order number and a brief description of the reason for return. We will respond within one business day with return instructions and, where applicable, a prepaid label. Please do not send a package before receiving return authorization.
